I. Cancellation policy
1. Cancelling a reservation, the contract cancellation by a client, not arriving at the hotel
If the booking fee is not paid on time, reservation is cancelled if not agreed differently.
If a credit card is not provided or it is not covered enough to pay for accommodation, the accommodation provider has a right to cancel the reservation.
A Guest has a right to cancel the reservation one day before arrival without any explanation. In that case, the accommodation provider has a right to charge him a cancellation fee.
Cancelling a reservation: Standard rate:

II. ACCOMMODATION RULES and REGULATIONS
1. General information
Accommodation provider´s main business: provision of accommodation services; specification of the services: the accommodation provider arranges accommodation and services related to accommodation on behalf of the accommodated guests subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in a written accommodation contract. Price of the provided service: the current prices for the provided services are listed on the website www.terracehotelprague.cz in the section “book now”. The prices are listed including the VAT tax.
Method of payment: the hotel guest is obliged to provide all payments agreed in the accommodation contract in cash or through a noncash transaction on provider´s bank account whose number and the variable symbol will be sent to the guest by the accommodation provider in writing.
* Start and end of stay
General accommodation rules :
Check-in is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Check-in during the weekend and bank holidays is from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The hotel can delay check-in because of technical issue in the building or room itself. Such change must be communicated with the guest via phone, text, email or personally. The hotel has a right to cancel the reservation in a case the guest didn’t arrive until 8 p.m. during the week or 4 p.m. during the weekend and bank holiday. The hotel does not have a right to do it in a case there was a late check-in in the contract.
The hotel will book the room until 8 p.m. of the day of arrival if guest paid a reservation fee. In a case, the guest will arrive on the same day in the morning and the room is free, guest can check-in early, but the fee will be as a price for the previous night.
Guests are obliged to check out until 10 a.m. on the last day of their stay unless it is arranged differently. If this time limit is extended until 3 p.m. the guest is charged 50% of the upcoming night. If the guest wishes to extend the stay on a day of leaving after 3 p.m., the guest is charged 100% of the upcoming night.
* Opening hours, general accommodation rules
The hotel provides services corresponding to its category throughout the whole year, bank holidays included.
Reception is open:
Monday - Friday : 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Only adults can be accommodated after showing a valid ID or passport. It is not possible to accommodate anyone under 18 without the permission written by their parents or legal representative.
A deposit can be requested from a guest within the amount of 2000 CZK – 8000 CZK. The guest is obliged to pay such deposit after arrival. If not doing so, the hotel can immediately cancel the reservation.
The deposit can be used to cover the damage that occurred during the guest's stay. The hotel is obliged to issue an invoice for damage of property or for violation of the rules of the accommodation facility. When using the deposit to pay the invoice, the hotel is obliged to return the price differential. In a case that damage is higher than the deposit, the guest must pay the difference on the invoice.
Visitors are to be received in the hotel’s common areas. Another person sharing the room has to be officially registered as the official hotel guest. Neither the guest nor the accommodation provider is allowed to provide the room to third parties. The responsible hotel employee has a right to access the room if there is a suspicion that there are more people sharing the room without previous registration. Penalty for any unregistered guest is 1500 CZK/per person.
Guests are required to follow the rules of polite behaviour, not to disturb other guests by their behaviour, behave according to rules during the silent hours. (from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.), refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances in the hotel’s common areas and refrain from damaging the fixtures and furnishings of the hotel (accommodation provider). Violation of any of these obligations is considered to be a serious breach of the Contract. Guests are responsible for any damage to the hotel property according to the valid regulations.
It is not allowed to bring your own equipment (blankets, dishes, appliances, larger electronics) without permission from the stuff or hotel’s management.
Silent hours are from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. during the weekdays and 12 a.m. – 7 a.m. during the weekends and bank holidays. No room visits are allowed during the night. Violation of this is considered to be a serious breach of the Contract and everyone might be asked to leave the room. The registered guest can be asked to leave immediately without any compensation.
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the entire hotel building under the penalty of 2550 CZK. Any manipulation with any kinds of an open fire is also strictly prohibited (for example candle lighting in the room without the approval of hotel management). Guest is obliged to inform the stuff about any damage caused by him/her or any damage that he/she discovered. In a case that this won’t happen, the hotel will automatically assume the damage was caused by the latest guest.
It’s strictly prohibited to use your own kitchen equipment, including gas cookers. The penalty for such use is 5000 CZK. Guests’ own electrical appliances cannot be used in the hotel. However, this does not apply to personal hygiene appliances (hairdryers, electric razors, etc.) or to computer equipment (notebooks, tablets, mobile phones).
It is forbidden to carry or store weapons in any area of the hotel. The guest is not allowed to hold, produce or keep narcotic or psychotropic substances or poisons in any area of the hotel (except for medicaments that were prescribed by the doctor). The fine for such violation is 4000 CZK.
*The hotel is responsible for the items brought in without restriction. Exceptions are jewelry, money and other valuables if the damage was not caused by hotel employees. By the Government No. 258/1995 Coll., implementing the Civil Code, the hotel is liable for damage only up to CZK 2,000, unless the mentioned items have been taken into a deposit (such as the hotel safe).

If any fine is not paid on site, the hotel is entitled to increase the total amount on invoice by 5% each new day.
